Andy Cruz is a seasoned video production professional and podcast studio owner based in Chula Vista, California. As the founder of Cruz Productions, Andy has spent the last 20 years helping professionals, brands, and businesses tell their stories with clarity, integrity, and impact. His work spans video production, branding, and content creation, with deep experience supporting mortgage professionals, entrepreneurs, and growing local businesses who want to build trust and authority through media.
Andy’s background gives him a rare blend of creative vision and business acumen. Before fully committing to video and podcast production, he worked extensively in the mortgage and branding industries, which shaped his ability to understand clients’ goals and translate complex ideas into compelling, accessible content. Today, he brings that same insight into every project, focusing on long-term relationships rather than one-off transactions.
A lifelong resident of Chula Vista, Andy has lived in the community for over four decades and remains deeply connected to the people and businesses he serves. He has been married to his wife, Jenn, for 22 years, and together they are raising three daughters. Outside of work, Andy enjoys economics, cars, ranching, horses, drumming, reading, and collecting old books. He also finds joy in building practical projects in his yard—often for his wife’s garden.
At his core, Andy believes success comes from putting others’ needs ahead of your own and always doing business above board. His long-term dream is simple and meaningful: to one day have a ranch where he can ride horseback whenever he wants—on his own time, on his own land.
